Greetings from Neurology Center of Las Vegas! We are pleased to announce the availability of Ambulatory Video EEG services. This equipment allows us to monitor patients who have seizures in their home environment. It is particularly helpful in diagnosis, when the clinical history is not entirely clear. This is a valuable tool to distinguish true seizures from pseudoseizures or non-epileptic seizures. It also helps to determine if the patients may need a different kind of medication. The subject can also use a push button when they suspect an event is about to happen. This is then reviewed in detail. It typically lasts 48-72 hours.
